Fishing with Dad

A couple of weeks ago we took my dad fishing to a private pond (belongs to our trooper friend). We had a lot of fun fishing and my dad caught no less than 10 fish. it may have been a lot more. These catfish were giant and sometimes it took two people to pull them out of the water. See for yourself!

Embroidery Project #2 and a Gift for my Mom

For stress relief purposes I made another embroidery project, this time for my mom. Next time I see you I will give to you....Hmmm, whom will I make a towel next????

Family Photos

As many of you know, we finally announced to the family on Mothers Day that I am a Preggo-Eggo. Due November 27, we are super excited and thrilled just like all of the family is. i will post more details as I go through the pregnancy but for starters, let's check out some family photos/reactions when we told them the BIG NEWS! :)

My first embroidery project

David bought me a new toy. It is a fabulous mid-beginner embroidery machine by Brother - Enthusiast. It sows and it embroiders, pretty fancy. I made my first project of a kitchen towel for my sister and i was excited to share with everyone.

I put a quilt edging ribbon on the bottom and did two embroideries. First one of the butterfly then of an M for "Morel". Check it out.

Fishing on Friday Night

Here are some pictures from our last nights fishing trip at a friends' house. We caught about 7 or so catsfish and they were no smaller than at least 6-7 lbs each. it was really great. i was sore by the time we got done fishing. Had a wonderful time.

Beautiful Horses

As soon as it was time to get off work, Dave and I headed to our friends' parents house to fish. We had an absolutely wonderful time with phenomenal fishing. Fishing post will be separate. Please check out these beautiful horses. i could not help but to keep snapping pictures of them. they were completely people tamed and came almost to you.

Cure from Swine Flu

My Running buddy emailed me to make sure i stay healthy for our future 5K's....i found it hilarious, even though a sensitive and an important topic......i had to find humor in it and share it with you.

Swine Remedy:

Wash your hands often. If you can’t wash them, keep a bottle of antibacterial
stuff around. Wear a mask when out in public places and avoid going out in public as much as possible while the swine flu is spreading. Get lots of fresh air. Open windows whenever possible. Get plenty of rest. Try to eliminate as much stress from your life as you can. As Elaine would say Yada yada yada
OR …. You can take the my approach. Think about it, when you go to the doctor
for a shot, what do they do first? Clean your arm with alcohol.. Why? Because
alcohol kills germs. So…… I put on my mask, walk to the liquor store (exercise), I put lime in my Corona (fruit), celery in my Bloody Mary (veggies), drink on the bar patio (fresh air), get drunk, tell jokes, and laugh (eliminate stress) and then pass out (rest). The way I see it, if you keep your alcohol levels up flu germs can’t get you!!!!

A present for my Mom

Since she left me a present on my blog, i am leaving a present for my mom on mine. here you go. this one did not grow in my yard but i wish it had. :)
