King Tut Exhibit

Last weekend Dave and went to go see the King Tut exhibit and learn the history of a 9 year old boy who took over the throne and led Egypt for 10 years until his very mysterious death. We learned a lot and witnessed some really neat and creepy things like beautiful jewelry and canopic jars (eeky part), saw coffins made of solid gold, 3000 year old jewelery, chairs, furniture, and paintings. If you have a chance, definately visit. Since photography is not allowed, i am not able to show you any pictures however we took a few in downtown before we got to the museum and took some pictures on our way out. Enjoy!

Yes, some of it was creepy. Specifically the canopic jars that used to hold their internal organs. I find that a bit scary and intimidating. the rest was a fabulous and not a scary exhibit. I recommend it.
