D'Vine Wine
Sorry for not updating my blog but life has been very busy. Between my full time job and teaching, some things tend to slip through the cracks and unfortunately my blog was it.
Last weekend Monica, Mark, David and I went to downtown grapevine to a winery called D'Vine Wine. 2 Hours later and after tasting around 9 different wines we were ready to go eat seafood. But, I can never leave a wine store without ordering something to go so Monica and I ordered a barrell of wine before we left. Yes, you read right, a barrell.
Half barrell of sour apple Texas wine and half barrell of Berry wine that they boys picked. 30 bottles of wine are going to be fermented and ready to be bottled by us in approximately 7 weeks. Yipee!
In seven weeks, Monica and I get to come back and bottle our own creation as well as slap some customized stickers on the bottle.
So here is the plug, in case anyone is ever interested in visiting this winery, we highly recommend.

My Birthday
So I am crazy behind on posting blogs, as you see but life has been very busy. Since the year turned, I have managed to have a birthday, go to Disney World, attend a Family Reunion and try to manage and live day to day life i call work and home.
Since I am behind, I will start at the beginning, my BDay. I feel older than ever and every year I manage to make goals (some I keep and some I kick to the curb). Last year I was able to meet just about all my goals except for one, loose a couple pounds but with a new job I managed to gain a few. However, I would like to say that the fat was lost, the muscle was gained and I even turned into a consistent 5K Runner (under 32min). So with that being said, I have no complaints or regrets.

Family Reunion 2009
David and I went to a Foster family reunion this past weekend and it was in Brenahm (central Texas). We had a blast with the family and met some new family members.
We had a lot of fun playing games, visiting, checking out the downtown and plain rest.

What a birthday Present
Yes, today is my birthday and I wanted to share with everyone what my sweet husband bought me. For the last couple of years, he has been spoiling me rotten with a little Zales box every birthday, and usually its contents are a complete surprise to me! Ladies and Gents, here is it...surprise! surprise!
1 Carat Total Weight (1/2 carat each, white gold) for my ears that have not yet healed from it's piercing day.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra!
Today we went to the American Airlines Center and watched Trans-Siberian Orchestra live! What an amazing show. Beside the fact that these people are musically talented, the light show was so amazing. A lot of pyro-tendenices, which I like and David said he is definately going back next year. Here are a couple of videos, just keep in mind, it is completely different in person, and louder. The show lasted 3 hours.
Avenged Sevenfold/Dear God
I really love this song. Listen to the words. Normally this bands sings alot of punk rock/hard rock....this is a big change for them.
